1st Inter School Scrabble Championship-2017

The more you read the more you learn.If you get enjoy in learning,reading will be your habit. As a result you can earn more knowledge and it will also enrich your vocabulary power. Scrabble is the game which helps to learn English words properly.The Head Teacher of Kaliganj Karim Uddin Public Pilot High School  Mr.Khurshiduzzaman Ahmed Coordinator of 12 Star School organized Ist inter school scrabble Championship on 24th October 2017 at Kaliganj Karim Uddin Public Pilot  High School premises.It was like a fastival.12 schools of Kaliganj Upazilla took part in this competition.Many students of these schools came to enjoy this competition.Most importantly many guests of different district like as Dhaka, Rangpur, Rajshahi came to visit this game.About 50 teachers from different school also came here to enjoy this fantastic game.The chief guest Mr Rashiduzzaman -commander of freedom fighter inaugurated this game.

Scrabble game is actually word making game.Every competitor gets 7 letters that's called tiles.So he must try to make word with these tiles and put these in scrabble board as a result he gets points.Others competitors make word randomly by following some rules. In one board there play 4 competitors. In this scrabble competition 48 students from 12 schools attended this competition in first round.

Then 12 students qualify for the next round that's called semi final. At last 3 students qualify for the grand final round.Every round is completed with very much excitement.The result of Ist inter school scrabble competition is given below:-

Champion -Afia jahin Rudosi, kaliganj Karim Uddin Public Pilot High School.

1st runner-up:- Lakki Narayan, Barajan SC High school

2nd runner-up:- Amina Tanjin Liva, Afzal Uddin Public High School.

 All participants get certificates.It is very experienced day for all the students.All the students were so much happy to take part such wonderful game .All of them inform that this game is very much helpful to remove afraid in English.So the organizer want to spread this competition in different Thana / upazilla as well as in different district  to learn to play English and improve English.

This game should be continue every year. If we do this continuously, there will be no afraid in English.This will enable students
